I had worked in salons for 24 years & was looking for a new challenge to fulfil my passion for specialised hairdressing. I have always loved working on weddings & playing with long hair. I wanted to be able to offer brides a much more personal & fun-filled experience on their wedding day, not in a salon but at the venue where they were getting ready on the day. Thats how in 1994 Rolling Scissors Mobile Hairdressing was born on the Sunshine Coast to service the growing number of weddings & my passion for bridal hair.
I wanted my business to be as relaxed & stress free for the brides that it possibly can, while still keeping the highest standards of professional service. We travel to all locations on the Sunshine Coast from the beautiful Hinterland regions to the iconic surrounds of Noosa.
I offer all my brides a complimentary hair trial This allows us to create a look that best suits the bride & complements her gown. We also discuss the theme for the day & how the bridesmaids are wanting their hair done Once we have worked this out we can create a wedding schedule so that by the time you leave the trial you'll be confident of exactly how your day will unfold.
I am still as passionate about weddings as I was when my business was launched.We have gone from doing 40 weddings a year to doing approximately 200 per year with help & credit due to my fantastic team, Dawn who has been with me for 6 years & our newest team member Tanja
