A good day for a wedding

Well it looks like a good day for a wedding. I have just finished ironing the lead singers shirt and pants, and after finishing this blog I am ready to go. Today we play at a private residence in Peregian Springs. Most of our weddings are in specialist venues or restaurants, so this will make a change. There is Paella on the menu which will also make a nice change, though I will never tire of Barramundi and Eye fillet believe me.
We have learnt a new song at the brides request for the ceremony, ‘A Case Of You’ by Joni Mitchell. It is quite a challenging piece, because Joni’s timing is less than conventional, but we are happy to rise to the challenge, and I must say I can’t wait to sing it.
So here’s hoping all you other wedding professionals and brides and grooms are having a lovely wedding today, and may that sun keep shining.
